I spent a few hours at the Special Service school before our Auction on Friday Night. This is truly a very Special School. The kids here are cared for in ways that make you proud that our county has a facility that can offer the best learning opportunities for children with disabilities. And what makes this school even more special is not just the students, but the people it employee's. From maintenance crew to the aids, teachers and administration - they all take an active part in the lives of their students - and let me tell you first hand, that is not an easy assignment. I tip my hat to them all and have enjoyed a relationship with the school as a member of the Education Foundation an a member of the Schools advisory committee for many years...
