Since the arrival and departure of Hurricane Irene we have received a flood of phone calls about the status of the Wildwoods.

With questions like.

Are the Wildwoods Open?
Can we find food if we travel to the Island?
Are the roads open to Wildwood?
When will our motel open?
Is the boardwalk safe to walk on?
Did the rides fall into the ocean?
and my favorite question - did the Wildwoods get any rain from the Hurricane?

How best to answer these question than to go directly to the business owners and our visitors to get the corrent answer. Please watch the following video to "SEA" what they said.
On the beach at Newark Avenue at 3:30pm, just as
Hurricane Irene pulls out of town.
As we closed up the Convention Center this was playing on the boardwalk as I was leaving the office - knowing that Kate Smith is the Patron Saint of Philadelphia I took this as a good "OMEN" for our community ...
